‘THE GREATEST TRACK DAY ON EARTH’

Veloce is the creation of collector and philanthropist Peter Neumark who teamed up with motoring event organiser Chris Bucknall in 2017 to raise charity funds from a track day concept. They paired a spectacular grid of cars with some seriously famous racing drivers, and charged sponsors and guests for the privilege of experiencing passenger laps around Goodwood. The recipe proved an instant hit and 5 years later the event has raised a total of over £700,000 for good causes. We now have a wonderful group of sponsors, drivers, owners and supporters who together make Veloce ‘the greatest track day on earth’.
Goodwood was a wonderful home for Veloce for the first 4 years, but for 2022 we took the event to the home of British motorsport, Silverstone. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, drivers and owners, this year’s Veloce was the biggest and best yet, with an eye-watering line-up of cars including the Harrods McLaren F1, 2 Jaguar D-Types, 2 C-Types and 2 Alfa 8C Monzas, a Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, some stunning Ferraris including a 275 GTB, Daytona and Monza SP2, a Bugatti Veyron, the Jagermeister BMW 3.0 CSL Batmobile, Fraser Nash Super Sport…..the list goes on in a similar vein. Minardi boss Paul Stoddart even brought his Formula One 2-seater for passenger rides. Our drivers this year included Derek Bell, Damon Hill, Jonathan Palmer, Richard Attwood and Ross Brawn, and the event raised around £200,000 for our charities Hope for Tomorrow and the Halow Project, bringing the total raised since 2017 to over £700,000.
