We have been running Ferrari tours since 2016, and it was a pleasure to run 2 tours through the timeless landscapes of Provence. For these tours we focussed less well known area to the west of the region, where the scenery is breathtaking, and the roads quieter than around the hotspots further to the east. We started with 2 nights at one of finest hotels in the whole of the region, the 5-star Hotel Crillion Le Brave, set in a medieval hilltop village in the shadows of Mont Ventoux. The scenic route then meandered east into the Var, with a further 2-nights at another iconic boutique hotel in the heart of the market village of Cotignac. Each day there were unforgettable drives, off the beaten track on some of the finest driving roads in Europe. The final driving day took us south to the coast between Saint-Tropez and Toulon, to the stunning village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, where we enjoyed our final night on a terrace overlooking the village and the sea beyond. The following day there was a farewell lunch on the beach at Lord & Lady Bamford’s nearby Café Léoube.
