Lisbon to Madrid, Iberia
After two great years in France, in 2023 Derek’s tour headed to Iberia in search of adventure on the famously deserted roads of Portugal and Spain. The 6-day tour started in Lisbon before heading north east across the plains of the Alentejo region, and then over the border into the heart of Spain. The hotels were, as usual on our tours, the finest in the regions we passed through, and the daily itineraries allowed plenty of time to relax and unwind before wine tastings and gourmet feasts each night.
